VRTOV BBC Workshop

By August 3, 2015 No Comments

Recently VRTOV had the pleasure of collaborating with the BBC Academy to bring media makers, researchers and developers together from across the BBC to explore what Virtual Reality could mean to a global media organisation in our guided one-day workshop.

Over the course of the day, participants developed and prototyped their own Virtual Reality experiences, workshopped VR-specific storytelling techniques and devices, and discussed some of the challenges and opportunities posed by the emerging immersive media formats such as Virtual Reality. The wealth of experience in the room was fantastic and resulted in nuanced and thoughtful approaches to creating work in the VR space.
